Zaytuna Institute is proud to be commencing the third and final "pilot" year of our exciting Islamic Seminary program. This three-year trial period has allowed us to develop our curriculum, experiment with appropriate work loads and texts, and to refine our student selection process. In process we have been able to train a group of capable students in the core Islamic sciences with an introduction into the social sciences. At the end of this final year we will officially launch this historic program and open our doors to enroll our first full-time class for the Fall of 2007.

For this final year we have seven eager students who will participate in the final phase of our pilot program, insha'Allah laying the groundwork for many students to come. We invite you to help support the important efforts of these seekers of sacred knowledge by donating to Zaytuna Institute. Your generous support will allow us to provide lodging, utilities, living expenses, and educational materials for these dedicated students, allowing them to concentrate solely on their arduous workload.

The baraka in your support is bountiful and ever multiplying. Whatever you can provide in support of this noble effort will be greatly appreciated and will help move us forward towards the opening of America’s first indigenous Islamic seminary.

"Learn sacred knowledge for it is a source of reverence for one who does so for the sake of God. Seeking it is worship, and reviewing it is supplication. Researching it is a [form of] Jihad. Teaching it to one lacking knowledge of it is charity. Spending for its possessors is a path of nearness [to God].” –Mu’adh b. Jamal
