ZAYTUNA MINARA PROGRAM
Zaytuna Minara programs are intensive weekend workshops offered for the many Muslims who are searching for sacred knowledge while grappling with the arduous scheduling demands of the modern world. Aimed at bringing high-quality Islamic education to people in their communities in a convenient yet powerful format, this program provides a concentrated educational offering which includes course materials, student exercises, and practical, relevant knowledge for students to apply in their daily efforts to better themselves and strengthen their connection to the Islamic tradition.

AGENDA TO CHANGE OUR FAMILIES
This second installment of the Zaytuna Agenda series focuses on the centrality of the family in the Muslim tradition and the urgency of transforming our families to ones based on prophetic guidance. Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir, and Anwar Muhaiman discuss the relationship between families and the path to purification; how to build Dar al-Islam at home; the special challenges of modernity for Muslim families; how to raise children in a secular culture; and how to create households of taqwa by incorporating spiritual practices in family life. The scholars make it clear that the broader problems that plague the modern Muslim community can only be substantively resolved by first creating healthy families.
