One of the mothers of the believers, the wife of our teachers' teacher, Shaykh Murabit al-Hajj, Sharifa Maryam recently passed away. The Ta'leef Collective and the Bay Area community will be conducting a khatm Quran and dua in her honor this weekend. |

An eight-week language program to be held in Berkeley, California. Based on a communicative approach to studying Arabic, the program provides introductory- and intermediate-level students with a rigorous, complete-immersion language experience in an Arabic-only environment, integrating the acquisition of listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills at an accelerated pace. |
